This Just In: Matthieu Blazy’s First Chanel Coco Neige Collection Has Arrived

In the mid-2020s, winter-themed capsule collections have become somewhat commonplace in the luxury fashion world. But rewind a decade, and that wasn’t the case.
Shearling and velvet were novelty fabrics that trended seasonally, but it was rare for designers to dedicate an entire collection to such niche themes—especially ones that included handbags. Ski fashion—or at least après-ski fashion—has changed drastically over the last 15 years, with the latter half of that period bringing a growing focus on handbag lovers.
Since 2018, when the temperatures cool off and the holidays loom, Chanel fans have known they’re about to be treated to a bonus collection alongside the traditional fall/winter offerings.
While we may be experiencing an unseasonably warm year, it’s about that time when designers thrill us with winter offerings that make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside—and out.
Meet Chanel Coco Neige 2026/27
On the heels of LV Ski, we’re back today with another collection designed for winter days on the mountain or simply enjoying après-ski activities.
Yep, we’re talking about Chanel Coco Neige 2026/27, and this one is especially notable because it marks Matthieu Blazy’s first Coco Neige capsule collection for the House. If you’re an avid Chanel collector, buckle up, because this one is not to be missed!
Matthieu Blazy Gives Coco Neige a Retro Twist
This year, Coco Neige’s signature cozy knits, soft shearling, and winter whites are reimagined through Matthieu Blazy’s lens, with a retro twist that feels both inherently sporty and distinctly Chanel.
Blazy takes Chanel’s most recognizable codes and modernizes them for the slopes. Iconic tweeds and the house’s signature palette of beige, white, and black get a playful update with pops of color and fun, vintage-inspired prints.
Chanel Coco Neige 2026/27 Bags We Love
A range of bags complements the collection, ensuring you’re fully winter-ready for the slopes—and the chalet. We’re talking maxi flaps and oversized totes in puffer materials, adorably playful penguin bags that add a touch of novelty, and more.
Explore all our favorite bags from the collection below, which launches today alongside new campaign images photographed by Julien Martinez Leclerc.
