It’s not even been a month since Chanel presented Matthieu Blazy’s second Spring ready-to-wear collection in Paris, but that doesn’t mean that everything we saw isn’t immediately available to wear.

That is, of course, as long as you’re a celebrity with deep ties to the House. Us mere mortals will have to wait months for even a chance to get our hands on what A$AP Rocky carried to the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala on Saturday.

In the words of his beau, Rihanna, A$AP showed up in a black tuxedo with satin lapels adorned with jeweled buttons and a Phresh Out the Runway Cloud Clutch from Chanel Spring 2027. Swoon.

The Grammy-nominated rapper from New York has had a longstanding relationship with Matthieu Blazy, dating back to the designer’s days at Bottega Veneta, so, of course, it’s not surprising that he is now one of Chanel’s most loyal ambassadors.

Not to mention, if ever there were a handbag closet we’d like to raid, it would be the joint closet of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, who’ve both been spotted carrying some of the most-wanted bags of the 2020s, from Chanel and Dior to Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta, and more.
