The New Balance 991v2 “Poseidon” Is An Aged Colorway Done Right

The New Balance 991v2 has been one of the strongest silhouettes in the brand’s catalog these past few years, continuing to lean on its premium Made in England composition to earn acclaim from NB heads with each new colorway.

Coming soon to New Balance and select retailers is a striking “Poseidon” look with a wonderfully aged aesthetic, anchored by beige hits on the midsole and laces and an oxidized yellow tint on the TPU heel clip. The sneaker is apparently part of a pack called “Vintage Sports” alongside a “Karanda Red” colorway carrying the same aged touches, which all of a sudden make a whole lot of sense in the context of a larger design theme. The official color palette reads “Bluesteel/Poseidon/Harbor Mist,” complete with premium suede overlays, grey leather underlays, and a nice pop of red on the “991” stitching around the heel.

The New Balance 991v2 Made in England “Poseidon” releases Fall/Winter 2026 via New Balance and select retailers, priced at $270. Check out detailed images below if you’ll be going for a pair.
