Bode Made Custom Nike Cleats For Ceedee Lamb
The NFL’s pregame tunnel has become an increasingly important stage for athlete fashion, and Nike is taking that cultural moment a step further with a bespoke apparel initiative pairing four NFL athletes with four fashion designers to create one-of-one outfits inspired by each player’s personal style.
The first pairing brings together Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and American luxury fashion label Bode, whose first intro into the Nike universe was, not coincidentally, the Astrograbber. Its appearance on Lamb is a subtle callback to that partnership’s origins.
Bode is known for its vintage Americana aesthetic, making it a natural fit for the Dallas Cowboys superstar. Lamb’s vision of a modern Western-inspired outfit drew inspiration from classic cowboy films, incorporating elements like fringe, bolo ties, buckles, and layered styling. The same vision applies to the custom Nike Vapor Pro 1, which features a cowboy boot look down to the steel toe-cap and the intricate inlay.
Bode’s involvement as the launch of this campaign raises the possibility of another for-retail sneaker collaboration down the line. Nothing has been confirmed, but the connection is certainly worth watching as is the remaining three pairings that will see other Nike-endorsed NFL superstars and the brand’s fashion partners.
