Kids Of Immigrants Keeps Football Energy High With A Nike Tiempo Collab

Kids Of Immigrants has another Nike collaboration on the way, continuing its exploration of soccer footwear with a colorful take on the Tiempo Streetgato. Following the release of its T90 Mule earlier this year, the people-conscious streetwear label is now bringing its distinct design language to the prized Nike football legacy.

Kids Of Immigrants has built a loyal following through its powerful storytelling and community-driven approach to streetwear, using apparel and footwear as a means of expressing heritage and belonging. Its partnership with Nike has provided another canvas for that creative vision, particularly through the intersection of soccer culture and everyday fashion. Earlier this year, the brand reimagined the iconic T90 as a backless mule as a nod to the chancleta home shoes commonly seen in the homes of Latin families.

The Tiempo Streetgato receives a similarly unconventional makeover, although the modifications here are more subtle compared to their Total90. The signature Swoosh on the indoor footy shoe is noticeably reduced in size, making room for Kids Of Immigrants branding across the upper just by the lace collar. Their icon log appears on the tongue as well as the interior insoles.

Further modifying the Streetgato are the additional protective mudguards and heel guards that lend to a more pronounced retro aesthetic, while the vibrant yellow upper, red interior, and neon green accents maintain the playful color palette that has become a hallmark of the brand’s footwear collaborations.

The Streetgato is also joined by a matching Tiempo Maestro, a performance-oriented counterpart designed for the pitch that we previously previewed. Together, the two models extend the collaboration across both sides of soccer culture, connecting the sport’s on-field roots with its growing influence on streetwear.
