Coach’s New Tabby Bags Are Giving Us More Reasons to Want Another

Coach’s latest Tabby bags give us new takes on one of the brand’s most recognizable designs, including special editions inspired by Elle Fanning and Soyeon. There’s denim, suede, shearling, and just enough embellishment to make you consider adding another Tabby to your collection. The black denim version already has my vote.
The Coach Tabby is no longer merely a bag for the brand; it has become one of its defining bag families. It’s a bag that has brought different generations together over a shared passion for a great daily carry, and one that has helped shape this era of Coach.
And because the Tabby has become such a mainstay, Coach keeps finding ways to rework it. New sizes, seasonal colors, different materials, and unexpected details give us something new to talk about while keeping the bag itself recognizable.
Just in time for prime shopping season, the latest versions give us plenty to discuss.
The Live Your Story Tabby Collection

The Live Your Story Tabby Collection features special-edition bags inspired by the personal style and stories of Coach’s Fall 2026 campaign stars. Among them are Elle Fanning and Soyeon, whose versions take the Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 in two very different directions.
Soyeon’s version pairs washed black patchwork denim with leather, giving the structured Tabby a more relaxed feel. I love the way the different denim panels add texture without needing a bright color or much embellishment to stand out.
This is the one that gets my vote. It has the ease I want in a daily bag, with enough going on to make an outfit feel more interesting.

Elle Fanning’s version takes a more playful approach, with embroidered and crystal-studded stars across a mix of chalk-colored leather and suede. The familiar Tabby shape gives the embellishments room to shine, and the light color makes every detail stand out.
Both versions come with detachable short and long straps, so you can carry them by hand, over the shoulder, or crossbody. The personality is different, but that everyday versatility remains.

More Winter Tabby Options
The newness continues with rich colors and plenty of texture. I already said that burgundy is the color of fall/winter 2026, and Coach has a luscious Tabby in this colorway that makes my case nicely.
Also part of the Live Your Story collection are a two-tone suede Tabby inspired by Lilas and a red shearling version inspired by PinkPantheress. The suede offers a more understated play on texture, while the red shearling is the one to look at if you want your bag to be the focal point.

There’s another denim option, too, this time with just the right amount of crystal detailing. If you like the casual feel of denim but want a little sparkle, this one brings both.
Coach knows it has a good thing with the Tabby, and these versions show how much room there still is to play with the design. A change in material or a few well-placed details can give the same bag an entirely different feel.
To me, that’s part of why the Tabby continues to connect with so many people. It bridges the gap between longtime Coachies, as our PurseForum members like to call themselves, and the next generation discovering the brand. Different ages, different personal styles, and still plenty of common ground over a bag.
