Ten Things I’m Eyeing for Fall 2026

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this every fall, but here we are again: fall is still my favorite season to shop for. There’s just something about this time of year that makes me want to rethink my wardrobe, clear out a few things, and make room for what’s next.

Maybe it’s the layering. Maybe it’s the coats and boots. Or maybe I just love the fashion math of fall dressing—you can take one piece away, add another, throw on a jacket or change your shoes, and suddenly an outfit feels completely different.

It’s one of the reasons I’ve always been willing to spend a little more on the pieces that really work: the staples with personality, the things you’ll reach for again and again, and those special pieces that can completely change the way you wear what you already own.

A great pair of shoes, a really good coat, and the right bag can do a lot of heavy lifting. And honestly, in 2026, I’m even more interested in that kind of wardrobe: fewer things, better things, and pieces I’m genuinely excited to wear.

Fall collections have been making their way onto my favorite shopping sites for weeks now, and I’ve finally reached the point where I need to stop pretending I’m still shopping for summer. My attention has officially shifted to transitional layers, cold-weather staples, and the pieces that make me excited to get dressed when the temperatures drop.

And, of course, my wish list is already getting a little out of hand.

There are so many things I’m loving right now, and if history is any indication, that list is only going to get longer. If I had to choose just one thing to buy right now, I’d probably go for the Dior Belt or the Ulla Johnson Jacket… although, let’s be honest, I’ve never been particularly good at choosing just one.
