The PUMA NITRO Velum has been his representative in performance running, now plotting its second act via the Velum NITRO 2. First revealed at the hands of the man himself, retailers now afforded our best look at the silhouette to date. Interestingly, it appears that the sole is untouched, utilizing his signature fingerprint motif that fades into more typical accordion textures towards the toe, all pasted atop patented NITROFOAM cushioning.

The upper is really where the changes take place, as the silhouette shifts into a more opened-up arrangement; the branching overlays of the 1 are replaced by a woozy peaks-and-valleys design. Two new looks add to the pink/red shown by Salehe: a chrome-coated one that sits above a soft yellow platform, and a two-tone grey-on-orange that utilizes both colors in a gradient sole unit.

The Salehe Bembury x PUMA Velum NITRO 2 is listed for September 3rd at overseas retailers. Retail pricing is currently unknown.
