From what I've read, the antique foot pedal rheostat is made of cast iron and probably came with one of my grandma's Singer sewing machines. The antique wood puzzle box has felt lining and is likely to have come with the same Singer. There is a hard to read imprint that reads "Patented February 19, 1889" below the "O" and "P" in TOP.
