Paige Bueckers’ Next Nike GT Cut 4 Takes Inspo From “Baja Blast”
Paige Bueckers for sure knows how to “Live Más.” Following a Nike GT Cut 4 “Shirley Buckets” earlier this year, the UConn alum and Dallas Wings star is lining up another soda-inspired colorway, this time taking cues from Mountain Dew’s cult-favorite Baja Blast.
When Taco Bell first introduced Baja Blast as an exclusive flavor in 2004, the response was immediate. The drink helped fuel 6% growth across the fast-food chain in the years that followed, eventually becoming so popular that Mountain Dew began rolling out limited retail releases before making it a permanent offering in 2024 for its 20th anniversary.
Bueckers was just a toddler when the tropical soda first hit Taco Bell locations, but she’s clearly caught on to the mania shared by millions of her generation. Her latest GT Cut 4 channels the drink’s unmistakable turquoise hue through Emerald Rise and Turbo Green across the rear half, while a purple toe box offers a possible nod to Taco Bell’s newer Baja Midnight flavor.
Paige Bueckers’ Nike GT Cut 4 “Baja Blast” drops soon via Nike.com and select retailers, priced at $200. See official images below if you’re set on copping.
