Eight Bags From Paris Fashion Week Spring 2027 That I Can’t Stop Thinking About

Fashion month may be over, but I’m not quite ready to move on from Paris. After eight days in my home-away-from-home city, I’m still thinking about the collections, the little moments in between appointments, and, of course, the bags.
Over the years, our fashion week coverage has grown to include more than just what we see on the runway. We also get a closer look at the collections through resees, which typically take place a day or two after a show. These appointments give editors and other guests the chance to revisit the collection up close, take in the details, and get a better feel for the bags beyond their runway debut. Resees also offer a broader look at the collection as a whole, including pieces and details that may not have been fully visible on the runway.
This season, I was back in Paris for a week packed with shows and appointments, with the occasional pastry from Copain, far too little sleep, and plenty of late nights writing back in my hotel room. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ve likely caught glimpses of it all, from the shows themselves to the street style outside and those much-anticipated closer looks at the collections.
I saw a lot of bags this season, and while we’ll be breaking down the biggest handbag trends from Spring 2027 soon, today’s roundup is a little more fun! These are eight of the bags that caught my eye, stuck with me long after I left the city, and have me already excited for spring. Let’s get into it!
Dior
We kicked off the week with Dior, which offered a mix of new designs and familiar favorites. There were plenty of nods to classic Dior House codes, including Cannage detailing on the Dior Toujours, which returned in a beautiful lilac suede, alongside an edgy new asymmetrical messenger complete with D-I-O-R charms.

Loewe
This insane sunny-yellow embossed croc bag from the Loewe runway is part clutch, part structured flap bag. Photos don’t even do it justice!

Celine
Wow was the consensus among everyone who attended the Celine resee. Held in a beautiful venue brimming with quintessential Parisian charm, the presentation made it easy to appreciate the collection up close. The bags arguably stole the show, especially the new, smooshy Celine Triomphe. Simple but so chic, it feels like the epitome of Michael Rider’s vision for Celine.
But the bag that first stopped me in my tracks was the Celine Frame Vanity. It was an immediate favorite when Rider introduced it in his debut collection for the House, and now it’s back in leopard. The Vanity is quickly becoming one of Rider’s signature designs, with this season bringing a fresh range of iterations.

Chanel
Red and burgundy are two of my favorite colors that can double as neutrals, and the two together? No notes. As for the beaded feather bag? Bags should be fun! This one is so fun.

Valentino
I’m a sucker for a good purple bag—what can I say? Plus, the gathered silk layering on this runway version of the Valentino DeVain feels incredibly luxe.
